Corie Tilly
Corie's journey began in the Philippines, where, at a young age, she started her career in customer service as an advisor for large international organizations. Her interest in technology was sparked early on, and with a strong vision and goal in sight, she started working diligently to make her dreams become a reality.
She soon became an Information Technology officer for a large cruise line, where she quickly grew from a Junior to a Senior whilst travelling around the world, experiencing new people, places, and cultures, and expanding her horizons from every possible aspect of life.
This journey ultimately led her to Sweden, where her next goal became settling down, learning the language, educating herself, and becoming a part of the community. Needless to say, she certainly accomplished this goal - and then some. After working as a Digital Analytics Implementations Engineer at a large marketing agency based in Copenhagen, she has since taken a bold new step, embracing entrepreneurship and launching her own ecommerce venture in Sweden, where she continues to pursue new knowledge and development.
Her philosophy is one of giving back, and her kind and giving nature has led her to volunteer at several different organizations and events, and to this day, she is part of organizing the internationally known event MeasureCamp Malmö, that brings together professionals from across borders and areas of the data analytics field.
She has even co-founded WIDA (Women in Data Analytics) - Nordics, a non-profit dedicated to empowering women in the data field by fostering community, creating a platform for knowledge-sharing, and opening doors to new opportunities and connections.
She already spreads inspiration daily through her words and actions, so she was a natural choice to become an expert on The Performance Game, where her knowledge will continue that legacy.
What personal strength do you believe has contributed most to your role?
My ability to adapt, and I say that with a full heart, because life has taken me to so many unexpected places. From the Philippines to the high seas, and eventually planting roots in Sweden while building my career across the border in Denmark, none of it was planned down to the last detail. But I learned to embrace wherever I landed, find the beauty in it, and make it my own.
That openness to change and face the unknown has shaped everything, from my career, the communities I've built, and the connections I've made along the way. When you stop resisting the unexpected and start dancing with it instead, incredible things happen.
And for me, they really have.
